With a great look and attitude that would make James Taylor cry Melissa shows that she’s at home in the city as well as the country.
Warm sunny summer evenings are ideal for family sessions. Beckham, Mary Lee, & Byron kept the energy up throughout the evening as we chased the sunlight at Steele Creek Park.

Joe and Tracy had planned their wedding for their wedding at an historic overland Stagecoach way station between Butte and Helena. But just before the celebration, snow and rain forced a rescheduling to their
home (a very nice location in the woods). But we did a day after session and returned to the Stagecoach station for some photographs on the bridge Joe built for the wedding
Half of Montana showed up (at least I think it was about half when I stopped counting) and danced and sang until the early morning.
PS. Yes, you read that right. SNOW. June 17th !!!! Who would have thought that? Actually if you live in the Big Sky state it’s not that uncommon. And that’s why I don’t live there!

I forgot a simple rule of elevation. It’s colder at the top.
But the cold didn’t bother Erin and Aaron (say that five times, then turn and pin the tail on the donkey) as we headed to the top of the Roan Mountain balds.
Such a wonderful day. And an awesome couple. But it was so nice to get back within range of a heater after the sun dropped out of sight.

Katie and Tim’s ceremony was delightfully simple. Just the closest family and friends outside the Knob Creek Church of the Brethren in Johnson City. However they had room for everyone under the big top at the reception. Although rain threatened, it didn’t come close to dampening the spirits of all of those who joined the celebration.
Beverly from Main Street Catering provided lots of great food to fuel this party.
