Although Barbara had planned an outdoor wedding in Plumb Ally, no one minded when it was moved to the Sinking Springs Presbyterian Church when rain threatened.
After the celebration the bridal party stopped in Plum Alley for some photographs in front of the original wedding site where Barbara and the Bridesmaids had the chance to introduce David to some on his new household chores, SW Virginia style.
Although Barbara and David live in Charlotte they returned to Abingdon to celebrate in the Miller family hometown and enjoy the SW Virgina hospitality.
The reception at Bristol’s Train Station was an exceptionally elegant affair and when it was time to leave they lit up the night with sparklers. The really BIG sparklers that put out enough light that you can see from all over town.
