{ yum yum }

When I was given a project for this year’s Tennessee Vacation Guide and told that the theme would be great places to dine in the Volunteer State, I assumed that I’d be visiting some of my favorite statewide barbecue palaces such at The Ridgewood, Jacks and others.

I was certainly surprised to learn that FINE dining doesn’t automatically include barbecue and that Tennessee is becoming known for supporting some truly extraordinary restaurants such as St John’s in Chattanooga and La Costa in Knoxville.

So if you’re traveling through the state and looking for somewhere exceptional for dinner, just pick up a copy of the Vacation Guide at any welcome station for suggestions. Bon Appetit!
