Christie & Nicholas had a classic Washington wedding that was full of friendship and family. But it was unusual because almost everyone already knew everyone else. Christie and Nick had been a couple for 11 years far eclipsing the dating longevity of any couple we’ve met. During the past decade they’ve had a lot time to meet each others friends and family! This gave their celebration the feeling it was just a big family party.

The J.W. Marriott balcony on Pennsylvania Avenue gave a stunning backdrop for the preparation photos as we were just about a block from the White House. Then we chased Nick & Christie’s motorcade across town to the historic Western Presbyterian Church for the ceremony before returning to the hotel for the reception.
